The journal quality is great although I was a little surprised that the quill and book are actually embossed in silver against the black cover instead of black.

Nice for the price. The binding is such that the book is a bit difficult to keep open while writing in it; given it’s smaller size, this can really make it a bit of a bear to work with.
The cover is quite beautiful – definitely the best part of the whole package.
I bought it to write notes in from meetings at work. It just seems a little classier and more professional to show up with a bound notebook rather than a pad of paper.

I gave this journal as a gift and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this small book. I would indeed like to receive one myself. The book is lined and has a very soft leather cover. It appears to be of such high quality that it will last for many years.

Just as expected. Attractive good journal made in Turkey, very close to 128 pages (256 if you count both sides of page like some do). Good Eccolo product, nice combination of portability and lots of writing space. Not refillable.
